Chicken Soup for the soul with immune boosting, pain relieving, anti inflammatory properties.


Chicken soup for the soul:

Prep 5 mins

Cooks in 15 mins

Serves 2

Ingredients:

400 ml chicken bone broth (recipe here)

Cup cubed cooked chicken

Half leek

One Onion

Cup of Kale

Cup cauliflower

Two cubed potatoes

Stick of celery

4 garlic cloves

Handful of parsley

Handful of thyme

Couple of sprigs of rosemary

Table spoon of ghee

Teaspoon of turmeric

Quarter teaspoon dried ginger

Few pinches of black pepper

Few pinches of salt

Method:

Add cubed veg and chopped garlic to a pot and fry on medium in ghee for 5 minutes, add turmeric and ginger, then add seasoning, chopped rosemary and thyme. Cook for 5 mins and then add cooked chicken and chicken bone broth, cook for further 5 minutes then add parsley just before serving.
